Also, Jeremy Irons in ANYTHING, or preferably nothing….;)

Even Brideshead Revisted, actually *especially* in Bridie, that slightly homosexual thing goes so well with his lovely cheekbones and creamery-inducing voice.

Kim Basinger in LA Confidential springs to mind as does Linda Fiorentino in The Last Seduction. Neither floated my boat before or after but were so hot in those movies. Maybe it’s a Noir thing (Strong, dominant roles etc).

Kyle MacLachlan in Twin Peaks – it may have been his character’s young, sharp, naive wholesomeness, though. Oh, and the suits. He was too young in Blue Velvet, and hasn’t aged particularly well since TP.

Ah yes, Aragorn. Not Viggo, just Aragorn. Raaar-tastic.

And good old Alan Rickman could be in ‘PS I Loathe You’ (NOT that I have seen it…) and I’d still love him. Maybe. He was even good in ‘Love, Actually’. Liam Neeson had a stinky horrible role in that. Soooo wet. But he is quite CSS elsewhere.

What about Brad Pitt? Disgustingly sexy in ‘Thelma & Louise’ but pretty silly in most other things.

Yup. I too suffer from CSS with regards to Viggo. I feel all weird and wibbly when he’s Aragorn, but not when he’s being anyone else. Including himself. It’s the hair and cloak combo, has to be.

It’s a fantasy thing. I didn’t find Viggo attractive in LOTR but he looked pretty hot with his gangster haircut in “Eastern Promises.” The bath house scene was pretty hot.

i think its alan rickmans voice really that gets me all a gaa gaa so he could be in a role really as long as it’s a speaking part.

now i like jeremy irons also but only again in certain roles ie NOT the missionbut his voice is yummy.

also these boys are hot in certain roles too.

robert de niro – taxi
toby maguire – spider man
christen bale – batman (ie NOT the machinist)
orlando bloom – kingdom of heaven/pirates
james galdolfini – the soprano’s

there are more but i can’t think of any now
